SUMMER UPDATE AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Hockey Family,

We hope you are enjoying a great summer so far. We are very excited and energized for a new hockey season to start. We have been working on some great things moving into next year as we plan to have an even better season than last!

Here is the summer update and information on registration:

Registration: Registration will begin on June 25th, 2018. All our programs are open, except for the Dallas Stars Learn to Play. We will still be using our Sport Engine registration platform. Each member will have to register with SportEngin before you can log in and complete registration (if you have not already done so). Please go to www.amarillohockey.com for more information on program packages, pricing, and information.

USA Hockey: To register with AHAI, you must have your USAH number. The cost to register with USAH is $46. If your child was born in 2012 or before, the cost is $0.

Raffle Tickets: We will continue the raffle ticket program. All the monies you raise, goes directly back to off-set your fees. The raffle will run from June 26th – November 1st of 2018. Tickets will only be available at Palace Coffee (34th & Coulter) every second Wednesday evening from 5:30- 7:00 pm (this will be the ONLY times available). Amy Henderson and Rachel Andersen will be the raffle managers. Each parent must sign a contract before they receive tickets and you will only be able to take a maximum of 20 booklets at a time. On the following Thursday, all credits will be applied to your account by the AHAI Treasurer. The prizes will be:

1st- Half side of beef and a freezer (donated by Andy’s Fence)

2nd- BBQ grill (donated by Jason Chafe State Farm)

 3rd- Revolver gun (donated by S & S Firearms).

All tickets will be $5. This is a great way to off-set the cost to play hockey and to teach the kids how to sell and take responsibility for raising their own money.

Please understand that there will be NO exceptions made to dropping off or picking up raffle tickets. The only time you may drop off or pick up tickets is on the schedule days (every 2nd Wednesday).

**Important Information to Consider**

  1. There is a processing fee of 2.8% at checkout that is not included in these prices. You will still be responsible for the processing fee even if you pay with raffle credits.
  2. Payment plans are estimated and may vary slightly.
  3. Each player is responsible for a $46 USAH fee that must be paid before AHAI registration (if born in 2012 or before the fee is $0).

At the end of the registration process online, you will get three payment options:

Option 1: Pay in full

Option 2: Automatic Payment Plan – this option is for families who want to make payments, but do not want to participate in the raffle. If you select this option- we will not be able to apply any credits to your account for raffle tickets sold

Option 3: This option is for families participating in the raffle. You will have to make your down payment in full. This can be applied as a coupon code (for tickets sold before the registration deadline). After the down payment is paid, you will be billed the remaining payments through the SmartPay system. Credits for tickets sold can be applied during the season to your account with this option.

Please make sure your kids are staying active, and trying new things over the summer. We strongly believe in multi-sport athletes.
