The AHAI is excited to share our new look...

The Amarillo Hockey Association (AHAI) is getting a new look. The association has decided it was time for a new and improved logo. The goal was to create some separation from the Amarillo Bulls Junior Hockey Club, that plays Tier II Junior, in the North American Hockey League. The former AHAI logo was fashioning some confusion between AHAI (non-profit 501 ©) and the Bulls. The AHAI travel teams will still participate in the traditional Amarillo Bulls uniform, colors and will still obtain their logo on the front crest. The new AHAI logo will be used in marketing, stationary, social media, proposals and other business platforms.

“We are excited about our new and professional look. We are the fastest growing sport in the Texas Panhandle and the program deserves a logo that represents that. We will be investing in the community more, increasing our awareness through marketing as we are working towards establishing the program as the premier youth organization in the city”, says Austin Sutter, the Executive Director of AHAI.

The logo uses the Bulls “Victorian D” font and has their navy blue, and red color scheme. There is also a touch of gold and silver in the colors that represents our “gold standard” as a measure of the best, quality, and excellence. The trace of silver represents prosperity and modernity. The logo features a set of Bull horns that differentiate from the Bulls Jr. team’s official logo. It was also important to represent when the Association was formed in 1994, to let people know that youth hockey has been going strong in Amarillo for 25 consecutive years.
